On Sketch A Day prompt was Pearl, and instead of thinking of drawing the ship The Black Pearl, I sketched Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean. In any case, Jack Sparrow have some pearls or more like beads in his hairs, so it will fit in any case.

For this portrait sketching, I used the graphite pencils Jumbo 9000 and also the Pitt Graphite Matt, both from Faber-Castell, on my sketchbook. I used a blending stump and Tombow mono zero eraser to blend the graphite and do the highlights. For the beads in his hairs and his eyes, I use different colours of Posca markers.
