In May 2025, the Wantage Library organised two free workshops. One on watercolour painting I attended and showed you my two paintings in the previous post. One on perspective, which is the subject of this post.

During this workshop, I learned to apply perspective principles, 1 and 2 points perspective, to then draw from two reference images provided by the teacher. It was a very useful workshop.

I brought my own graphite pencils and square ruler, but the teacher had couple of extra rulers and pencils to pass around if needed. They also provided the millimetre papers. I am not sure the exact name of this paper, I just translated the French name into English. As you can see in the left and middle photos, it is a paper with a metric grid.
