I have started to use more and more coloured pencils as I discovered to used them properly recently, and I draw a rack of colourful clothes as my first coloured pencil drawing. I like to draw animals, so I draw a colourful parrot and a fly using an old and new set of coloured pencils.

Using my old set of coloured pencils, I draw this dancing parrot. I applied what I learn from blending coloured pencils, and not using graphite pencil (or erasing the sketched marks made by graphite before drawing with the coloured pencil).

I then bought a full set of 120 coloured pencils Gold Standards from Castle Arts, and I love them. The first drawing I did with them of a full animal (I did the cat eye before and I will post it in the blog soon) is this fly. While my drawing is not great, I find the coloured pencils very vibrante.
