Today’s prompt of Sketch a Day is moonlight. As I love stargazing, it was an easy one for me to find what to sketch, and I drew the moon! As simple as that!

I used three graphite pencils for this drawing. A Derwent Graphite F for the general sketching, then the HB Jumbo 9000 pencil for the craters, followed by a 14B Pitt Graphite Matt. Both the HB and the 14B are from the brand Faber Castell on my sketchbook. I used a blending stumps to blend the graphites, and a little bit of Tombow mono zero eraser for the highlights around craters and the sun exposed edge of the moon.
